Defib For Life attend the ACEL national conference #NC24.

We recently attended The ACEL conference in Adelaide, which coincided with Shoctober and World Restart A Heart day. We spent three days talking with education leaders about the importance of defibrillators within their schooling communities. My curiosity led me to ask the big question. "Do you have a defibrillator at your school" I was pleasantly surprised that most indicated that they did have one or more defibrillators on campus, as they had recognised that the risk of a cardiac arrest event occurring within their school community was high. 

We donated 2 defibrillators at the event. A CellAED was gifted to St Patricks Catholic PS in NSW. And a Heartsine 500P defibrillator package was gifted to a school community in Bega, NSW. 

DFL also Co sponsored the Shane Warne Health check booth. The booth was well utilised by conference attendee's, in a push to ensure educational leaders, not only looked out for their communities, but looked out for themselves.
